The Dobot Smart Pendant TP10 enables manual operation, programming and monitoring of compatible Dobot robots directly at the production line. The 10.1-inch multi-touch screen with a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels, twelve physical control buttons, an emergency stop button and a configurable 3-position enable button support quick set-up and precise manoeuvring. Vibration and audible signals enhance feedback during operation. Weighing 1.09 kg, with an IP54 rating, a 4.5 m cable and USB, USB-C and Ethernet interfaces, the TP10 is suitable for commissioning, programme optimisation and service calls.

These include pick-and-place applications, quality inspections, laboratory automation, machine loading, component handling, conveyor belt applications, and assembly and inspection processes in the electronics and automotive supply industries. Thanks to its compact design, the robot can also be integrated into existing systems with limited installation space. The high repeatability of ±0.05 mm enables reproducible processes for inspection and assembly tasks. For applications involving high payloads, long reach or high process forces, more powerful cobots or traditional industrial robots are the more suitable choice.

Commissioning is carried out via DobotStudio Pro and can be performed using a PC, Android or iOS device, or optionally via the TP10 teach pendant. The DSC platform supports industrial communication standards such as PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU, enabling it to be integrated directly into existing PLC environments. Programming interfaces and APIs, including Python integration, are available for custom applications. In addition, the software supports graphical programming, vision commands, conveyor tracking and parallel program execution. Thanks to the combination of an intuitive user interface and industrial interfaces, initial commissioning can be carried out even in projects with a manageable level of engineering effort.

Alternatively, the Nova 2 can be configured directly as a complete robot cell.
