Robot Arm Serves Cold Drinks to Customers

Mr. Barnitzke, chief editor at Automationspraxis, visited the RBTX team in Cologne to have a look at the remotely assembled solution with our RBTXpert.

The application is an articulated arm robot that is supposed to serve cool drinks to customers or trade fair visitors.

The customer's request was implemented with a Robolink DP5 jointed-arm robot, a 2-finger gripper, mounted in a cell. With our intuitive igus Robot Control software, the travel path was configured in no time and the robot cell was ready for use.
