Pick and place with line gantry robot

For many applications, there is no need for an articulated arm robot. Often, 2 or 3 degrees of freedom are completely sufficient.

In this application, the stacking and depositing of lids was to be automated. For this purpose, a 2-axis system was equipped with a Cobot pump, as well as an additional lightweight gripper system to guarantee a higher gripping force.

The application could be realized without any problems and a short payback time of the investment could be guaranteed thanks to the cost-effective components.
