Hands-on Robot Training - RBTX Academy
延伸產品:: igus® Robot Control - Basic Training
Hands-on robotics knowledge for all levels
The RBTX Academy offers practice-oriented training in two levels: Basic Training for beginners and Expert Training for advanced users who want to dive deeper into programming. The focus is on hands-on learning with real robots. Trainings are available for the igus Robot Control software, which can be used to program all igus robots, as well as for many other partner robots. Thanks to the small group size of a maximum of 8 participants, individual questions can be addressed in detail. This creates an intensive learning experience that perfectly combines theory and practice – ideal for anyone looking to learn robotics from the ground up or deepen their existing knowledge.

igus Robot Control Basic Training – Your Practical Entry into Industrial Robotics
The igus Robot Control Basic Course is the ideal starting point for anyone looking to enter the world of industrial automation and robot programming. Designed for beginners, this hands-on training teaches the fundamentals of robot kinematics, motion control, and digital I/O integration—without requiring any prior experience.
Participants begin by exploring different robot types such as Cartesian robots, SCARA robots, Delta robots, and articulated arms. The course explains where each kinematic system is used and highlights their advantages in various automation scenarios. Next, attendees dive into programming with igus Robot Control, learning essential movement commands including linear motion, joint motion, and circular path programming. Each topic is paired with practical exercises using project sheets that simulate robotics tasks.
The training also covers how to integrate digital inputs and outputs, build logical program structures, and use functions like wait conditions and subprograms—key skills for any automation engineer. The course concludes with a real-world pick-and-place project, where participants program a robot to retrieve parts from a magazine and place them precisely—applying all learned commands and logic.
Whether you're a technician, student, or automation enthusiast, this course equips you with the skills to start building your own robotic automation solutions using igus technology.
