ESTUN CODROID 02 – Embodied Intelligent Humanoid Robot

ESTUN CODROID 02 is an embodied intelligent humanoid robot for multi-scenario use. With modular design, it supports manual height adjustment (138–168cm) to fit diverse scenarios. The head system weighs ~2kg, with a manual pitch adjustment range of -25° to 10°. Upper limbs are all-metal, each with 7-DOF rotating joints, max payload 5kg (excluding dexterous hand) and self-weight ≤8.5kg.

Body housing is made of metal/engineering plastics, integrated with built-in air duct heat dissipation. The back cover has rich interfaces: HDMI, USB 3.0, Ethernet ports, plus an emergency stop port. Movable chassis supports laser SLAM navigation, max speed ≤1.5m/s, navigation accuracy ±5mm. It has a 15Ah battery, body dimensions 810×545×228mm, and optional counterweights prevent tipping after locking.Standard cerebellum motion controller, optional intelligent brain; self-developed modular upper limbs enable flexible assembly and quick maintenance. It supports open EtherCAT slave protocol, expandable with dexterous hands (mounting flange, DC 24V/2.5A, RS-485), voice modules, head/chest cameras, tactile sensors, and head/waist DOFs for multi-modal human-robot interaction.

It enables precise movement and operations, supporting secondary development for diverse expansions. Suitable for scenarios like production line inspection, material handling, commercial services, and education & research.

(1)Self-Developed Core Hardware: Balancing Power and Precision : Its core competitiveness lies in fully independently developed integrated joint modules, integrating precision reducers and high power-density motor technology to achieve dynamic balance between power and precision. It can efficiently perform physical tasks such as component grabbing and material handling, while accurately executing delicate operations like screw tightening and millimetric-level quality inspection. With stable, low-noise operation, strong impact resistance, and a longer service life, it builds a full-chain technical closed loop from core components to the entire machine.

(2)Dual Fast-Slow System Architecture: Breaking Through Intelligent Control Bottlenecks : It innovatively adopts a "fast-slow system collaboration" embodied agent architecture, solving the pain point of "decision-execution delay" in traditional robots. The slow system relies on the Vision-Language Large Model (VLLM) to efficiently process text commands and scene images, completing high-level task understanding and semantic parsing. The fast system uses flow matching strategy and model predictive control algorithm to receive real-time environmental data, joint, force/tactile status, output precise motion commands, and achieve low-latency motion control.

(3)Multi-Robot Collaboration + Rapid Iteration: Enhancing Large-Scale Value : It supports multi-robot collaborative operations, solving automated collaboration problems in manufacturing and logistics through a collaborative network, and adapting to production line needs in industries such as automotive, 3C electronics, and building materials & furniture. Leveraging ESTUN's technical accumulation in industrial robots, it completed the iteration from Generation 1 to Generation 2 in just 9 months, achieving comprehensive upgrades in gait stability and finger dexterity.
